Steve Francis: Beyond the Glory
Fox Sports Net’s critically-acclaimed documentary series Beyond The Glory continues with a look at one of the NBA’s top talents, Steve Francis. Nicknamed “The Franchise,” Francis carried the Rockets on his shoulders during his first five NBA seasons. Now the Orlando Magic are counting on him to bring their team back to the NBA’s higher echelon.
Beyond The Glory: STEVE FRANCIS premieres on FSN Florida Sunday, October 23rd at 6pm. Replays will be shown on FSN Florida on Monday, 10/24 at 3pm, Wednesday 10/26 at 4pm (ET).
BEYOND THE GLORY is Fox Sports Net's highest-rated weekly program. The critically-acclaimed documentary series profiles some of the most legendary and controversial athletes in recent history. In this upcoming season, BTG examines the careers of boxing legend George Foreman, NFL superstars Donovan McNabb, Tony Dorsett, Daunte Culpepper and controversial Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. BTG also sits down with NBA greats Reggie Miller, Kevin Garnett and Grant Hill as well as legendary Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss and his family.
Previous seasons of BTG have delved into the lives of such athletes as Mike Tyson in a special two-hour Emmy-nominated episode, and in-depth interviews with sports notables such as Kobe Bryant, Chris Webber, Sammy Sosa, Cal Ripken Jr., Oscar de la Hoya, Evander Holyfield and NFL greats Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders.
