Game #15 – Cleveland vs. Milwaukee
Cavaliers 75, Bucks 63

Orlando, FL – It wasn’t pretty, but it was good enough for the Cavaliers to end the Pepsi Orlando Pro Summer League with a victory.

Robert Conley netted a game-high 17 points, leading Cleveland to a 75-63 victory over Milwaukee during the final game at the RDV Sportsplex. The Cavaliers ended the week with a 3-2 mark, while Milwaukee finished 2-3.

Cleveland’s Robert Jackson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Hollis Price added 13. Lamont Barnes led the way for the Bucks with 13 points, while Dan Gadzuric tallied 11 points and 11 boards.

Cleveland shot the ball well during the opening frame, connecting on 52.4 percent (11-of-21) from the field. Conley scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including a perfect 2-of-2 from beyond the three-point arc, helping the Cavaliers grab a commanding 26-14 lead.

Milwaukee opened the second quarter with a 10-2 run. Gadzuric followed up a miss by Isaac Fontaine with a thunderous slam dunk, and cut the deficit to four points, 28-24. The Cavaliers quickly responded and pushed the lead back to 41-30 with under three minutes to go in the half, after a three-pointer from the corner by Dan Miller. Cleveland took a 41-34 advantage at intermission.

Midway through the third quarter, guard Price made a spin move to the baseline, then hit a tough fadeaway jumper, pushing the Cavaliers’ lead to 11 points, 49-38. Later, Conley nailed another big shot, this time a three-pointer from the left side with 3:44 remaining, extending the advantage to 55-40. The Bucks would not quit and went on a 7-0 run, capped off with a three-pointer by Terrell McIntrye. Despite the spurt, Milwaukee still trailed entering the fourth, 59-51.

With 7:52 remaining in the game, Barnes cut the Cleveland lead to 59-55, with a tip-in off a Fontaine miss. However, Roberto Bergersen answered immediately with a three-pointer, then a 16-footer to push the lead back to nine.

Gadzuric tried to keep the Bucks in the contest, following another offensive rebound with a layup, slicing the Cleveland lead to 66-61 with just 3:54 remaining in the contest. However, Bergersen nailed another three-pointer following a timeout, then drained another mid-range jumper, extending the Cavs lead back to eight.
