Magic Sign Jermaine Walker

Orlando, FL, Sept. 18 – The Orlando Magic have signed free agent forward Jermaine Walker, General Manager John Gabriel announced on Wednesday. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.

Walker (6’7”, 225, 4/5/77) played in 23 games last season with Fargo-Moorehead of the CBA. He was the second-highest scorer in the league, averaging 22.4 ppg. Walker also played in the Philippines with FedEx Express. In addition, he has spent time in Italy, Israel, the ABA and USBL, after playing one season at the University of Miami in 1996-97.

The Magic will hold training camp at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville from October 1-6.
