Catching Up with....Travis Diener
Magic guard Travis Diener has been in Orlando this week working out at the team's practice facility at the RDV Sportsplex. OrlandoMagic.com caught up with Travis after he completed a workout session to see what he's been up to since the season ended.
OrlandoMagic.com: What have you been up to since the end of the season?
Travis Diener: I've been at home relaxing a bit. I just got down here on Monday and I'll be here for a week and a half and then back again for Summer League.
Q: Have you taken any vacation time?
TD: I went to Las Vegas for a few days. That's about it. Otherwise, I've just been back home with the family relaxing.
Q: Are you excited to have your own basketball camp this summer?
TD: Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It will give me a chance to give back to the kids back home
Q: Are you ready to participate for the Magic in the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando?
TD: I'm looking forward to getting back on the court and playing some competitive basketball. Hopefully, getting better and showing how much I've improved this summer.
Q: Do you have any goals for Summer League?
TD: I just want to play like I did when I got the chance last season. Play more of a vital role on the Summer League team and take control and be a leader out there as the point guard.
Q: Have you been following the NBA Finals?
TD: Yeah, of course. Miami pulled a big one off last night, so I'm cheering for Miami and hopefully they'll keep it going now.
Q: Do you have a prediction on how the rest of the series will go?
TD: I'm going to say Miami in seven. But I don't think that's going to happen. Dallas is playing pretty good.
