-Arroyo and the Orlando Magic to distribute Thanksgiving meals-

On Monday, November 12th, point guard Carlos Arroyo and the Orlando Magic will donate turkeys and all the trimmings to Head Start families and families affiliated with Southwood Community Center.

Turkey dinners will be provided to 300 families at the Southwood Community Center from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM.

Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families.

Joining Arroyo will be "Stuff" the Magic Mascot, Magic Dancers, Jet Blue Crew, and Magic staff.

The event is not open to the public and the families have already been pre-selected.
