Indiana Pacers 89, New Jersey Nets 62
Indiana picked up its first victory this week at the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando with a 89-62 blowout victory against the New Jersey Nets.

The Pacers roared out of the gates by quickly building an 11-3 lead that would eventually evaporate by the close of the first quarter. Despite the slow start, New Jersey remained composed and went on an 11-6 run to close within one, 21-20. However, New Jersey couldn't capitalize on its newly found momentum as the Nets only scored eight points in the entire second quarter as the Pacers went into the lockeroom with a 39-28 lead.

The Pacers used a balanced scoring attack in the first half as eight of the nine players that saw minutes put at least two points on the board. Second-year center David Harrison led the way with eight points, while New Jersey's lone first half highlight was a 12 point performance on 6-of-8 shoot from recent Draft pick Josh Boone.

Things didn't get much better for the Nets in the third quarter as the Pacers started the second half with a 7-0 scoring run. The Nets continued their struggles from the field, hitting just 32 percent and less than 1 percent from three-point range - canning only 1-of-12 attempts entering the final quarter.

Indiana didn't relent on the offensive end in the fourth as their lead grew to 29 points with a 19-3 run to open the final 10 minutes. Harrison continued his domination on the inside, heading to the bench midway through the fourth with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting.

The Pacers also got quality minutes throughout the game from its backcourt. Snap Hunter, James White and Ricky Minard combined for 41 points as the team shot 47 percent from the field.

Boone finished as the high man for the Nets, connecting on 8-of-11 shots for 17 points, while also grabbing 9 rebounds. Antoine Wright also had a solid night, finishing with 15 points as the Nets fall to 1-2 this week.
