New Jersey Nets 94, Charlotte Bobcats 87
Despite a combined 63 point effort by Charlotte's Adam Morrison and Sean May, New Jersey rallied in the fourth quarter to hand the Bobcats their first loss of the week, 94-87, in Day 4 action at the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando.

May scored 32 points and Morrison added 31 for the Bobcats, but it wasn't enough as the Nets outscored Charlotte 31-19 in the final period.

Charlotte held a 26-18 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter, getting 13 points from May and five points each from Morrison and Kevin Burleson. Morrison added 10 more points in the second quarter, but the rest of the Bobcats lineup went scoreless - allowing New Jersey to creep back into the game and hold a 40-36 edge entering the second half.

While Morrison was the lone scoring presence in the second quarter, Charlotte's offense came alive in the third as the team put up 32 points on the scoreboard to take a 68-63 lead entering the final period. May alone scored 19 points during that 10 minute stretch, giving him 32 through three quarters.

Down by seven in the opening minutes of the fourth, New Jersey kept pace as a Josh Boone alley-oop from Marcus Williams cut the deficit to three. But minutes later, Morrison canned a three near the top of the key to increase the Bobcats lead to six.

With less than four minutes to play and New Jersey down by only one possession, Antoine Wright tied up the game with a three and followed by hitting a pair of free throws on the next possession. Marcus Williams then added a three to give the Nets a five point lead.

A Morrison jumper brought Charlotte back within three, but Marcus Williams hit 2-of-3 free throws after getting fouled beyond the arc by Burleson with 1:44 on the clock. From there, the Bobcats missed five of their last six shots and New Jersey took care of business from the charity stripe to seal the win.

Wright led the way for New Jersey (2-2) with 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting. Eric Williams finished the game with 20 points and 12 boards and Marcus Williams added 16 points to go along with 12 assists.
