PUT A NAME WITH A FACE - TRAINING CAMP ROOKIES
KASUN BARRON RICH HOWARD WILLIAMS NELSON CORSLEY

Take your pick of "big stories" for the Magic this season. Is it the return of Grant Hill to the basketball court? Is it the anticipation of Dwight Howard's rookie season? Is it the entrance of Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato to the Orlando basketball scene? Or, could it be Jameer Nelson proving, once again, all the naysayers wrong? Time will tell. Keep watching.
The past season of play wasn't what you would call wildy successful. In fact, we don't really have a name for it. So let's get this over with quickly and move on to the main course. You're not here to dwell on the past, afterall, you're here to enjoy what's yet to come. Last season saw the change of our head coach in November. Johnny Davis took over for Doc Rivers, who has sinced moved to Boston. The team finished with a, ahem, losing record. The numbers don't really matter, do they? There, told you that would be fast. The clouds cleared, the sun shone again and John Weisbrod became the new GM, and quickly put a plan into action. T-Mac: out. Francis, Mobley, Cuttino: in. Four assistant coaches added. And just for kicks, the college and high school players of the year. He rounded out the roster with Stacey Augmon, Tony Battie, and a few international autographs (forward Hedo Turkoglu and center Mario Kasun). Now what? That remains to be seen. One thing is for sure. Weisbrod doesn't know failure. He won't let it happen. So, stand up, grab a pom-pom, buy your tickets, and get to the game. You won't want to miss this year's Total Team Effort.
