ORLANDO -- “Magic Drive Time” will debut on WYGM-AM 740 The Game on Monday, October 3 from 5:30-6 p.m.

“Magic Drive Time,” hosted by Dante Marchitelli, will air Monday-Friday from 5:30-6 p.m. on AM 740 The Game throughout the NBA season. Each day Marchitelli will be joined by a different co-host, including a rotation of Head Coach Stan Van Gundy, President of Basketball Operations/GM Otis Smith, Magic players, broadcasters and front office personnel. Fans will hear all the latest Magic and NBA news from people in the know.

Dante Marchitelli has been with the Orlando Magic organization since 1998-99, where he began as a radio intern. In 2000, he was hired on full-time as radio producer, working behind the scenes on every broadcast for the Magic Radio Network. In 2005, Marchitelli was promoted to his current role as radio manager and radio sideline reporter. His role was expanded in 2008 to television as pre-game host and sideline reporter for Sun Sports/FOX Sports Florida. That same season, he also became co-host of the Magic’s weekly television program, “Magic Overtime with Dante and Galante,” which airs on Sun Sports.

A 50,000-watt station and member of Clear Channel Communications, WYGM-AM 740 The Game is Orlando’s home for national FOX Sports and local sports talk programming. 740 The Game serves as the flagship station for UCF Knights athletics and is the Orlando home for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
