After four years at Georgia Southern University and despite being undrafted, Michael Curry played a decade in the NBA.
Curry played for six NBA teams, including the 76ers, Bullets, Pistons, Bucks, Raptors and Pacers.
Curry was well respected around the league for his strong defense and leadership qualities.
Curry served as the head coach of the Pistons for the 2008-09 season.
As an assistant coach, Curry helped the 76ers advance to the playoffs the last two seasons.
Lindsey Hunter was the 10th overall pick of the Pistons out of Jackson State in the 1993 NBA Draft.
Hunter was a key member of the 2001-02 NBA champion L.A. Lakers.
Hunter won his second NBA title in 2004 during his second stint in Detroit.
In all, Hunter played in three NBA Finals and finished his career with 7,956 points.
It was apparent throughout his career that Hunter would eventually become a great head coach in the NBA.
Jacque Vaughn was a first round pick in 1997 of the Jazz out of Kansas.
Vaughn played for the Magic in the 2002-03 season.
Vaughn played for six NBA teams throughout his 12-year career.
Vaughn won an NBA championship with the Spurs in 2007.
Vaughn has been an assistant coach with the Spurs since 2010.
