Denton's Dish: The 5th Quarter (2/25/14)

Dewayne Dedmon and Adonis Thomas, who signed 10-day contracts with the Magic, didn’t get into Tuesday night’s game. However, with the team playing on the second night of a back-to-back Wednesday in Philadelphia, the two newcomers could see action against the Sixers.

Dedmon and Thomas were introduced to their new teammates on Tuesday morning and they went through the team’s morning shoot-around practice. Vaughn guessed before the game that the two players knew two of the Magic’s plays – enough that they could play a few minutes if needed.

Dedmon, who played in 15 NBA games earlier this season with Golden State and Philadelphia, said that experience would aid him make a quick adjustment with the Magic.

``Every team pretty much runs the same plays, so I should be able to pick it up pretty quick,’’ Dedmon said.
