Moore should see plenty of playing time Monday night when the Magic (0-2) face the Mavericks (1-1) in Dallas. Moore could even be on the floor quite a bit with Oladipo, who is expected to see extended minutes after playing especially well in the first two preseason games of his young NBA career. Oladipo stuffed the stat sheet on Wednesday with 10 points, nine assists, five rebounds and four assists and he had a team-high 18 points and eight rebounds in his first-ever action at the Amway Center on Friday.

Moore was plenty impressed with Oladipo when the two faced off in Big 10 play three seasons ago, and he said he’s not one bit surprised at the player that the No. 2 overall draft pick has become. He said he’s worked to be a mentor for the rookie and help him learn the NBA ropes.

``I definitely talk to him and share as much knowledge as I can with him,’’ Moore said. ``He’s going to be fine. His potential is very high and we’ve only seen part of it so far. He’s a lot smarter than people think and he’s very athletic.’’
