According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Suns are the first NBA team in 36 years to win a game while making just one free throw. The last to do so was the New Orleans Jazz on Nov. 19, 1977 when they defeated the Houston Rockets 103-101. That night, the Jazz made just one of five free throws.

The Magic loss ruined the 2013-14 debut of Tobias Harris and the home return of Glen ``Big Baby’’ Davis, both of whom have been out with injuries. Both were incorporated back into the rotation Sunday night off the bench. All of the newness could have had something to do with the Magic’s defensive breakdowns on Sunday night.

``We just have to get some type of rhythm and consistency back as a team,’’ said Arron Afflalo, who had 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists. ``Coming off a back-to-back shouldn’t be the biggest issue. Guys coming back to the lineup will take some time for adjustment. But give them credit because they hit some tough shots down the stretch. We closed it to three, but we never really had the game in hand.’’
