As part of the Magic’s celebration of their 25th anniversary season, the franchise honored team founders Pat Williams and Jimmy Hewitt. The two of them led the charge to bring the NBA to Orlando back in 1987 and the Magic began play in 1989. Hewitt and Williams were recognized between the first and second quarters on Friday night.

Down 18 points at the half, Orlando played with more fire and better execution in the third quarter to get somewhat back into the game. Orlando got as close as 10 points and trailed 81-70 going into the fourth quarter.

Twelve straight Spurs points to start the fourth quarter seemed to break the Magic’s spirits and put them back into a 23-point hole.

``Coach talked about before the game that we had to be disciplined because they want you to take bad shots and they want you to rush. They are just waiting for you to make mistakes and we made a lot of them,’’ Vucevic said. ``Including me, I had way too many turnovers and I have to learn from that.’’
