In three games against Miami last season, Vucevic had two 20-point/20-rebound games and averaged 21.7 points and 21 rebounds a game. He also had 29 rebounds against the Heat last Dec. 31 – a Magic franchise record. Orlando outrebounded Miami by an average of 12 rebounds a game last season with Vucevic on the floor. But with the 7-foot center playing only 22 minutes on Wednesday because of foul trouble, the Heat outrebounded the Magic 40-25. Miami entered the game last in the NBA in rebound percentage, but played well on Wednesday.

``I wasn’t on the court a whole lot because of the foul trouble,’’ Vucevic said. ``I just didn’t play that much. It got me out of my rhythm and I couldn’t get going because I was in and out so much.’’

Up five points at intermission, Miami pulled away in the third quarter with a 36-point explosion. Miami made five 3-pointers in the third period. Four of those long-distance shots came from Jones after the Magic had double-teamed or trained their defensive focus on James. He had three assists in the period – two of them leading to Heat 3-pointers.

``I am gifted and I don’t take that for granted,’’ James said. ``I work on my game, but I also know that I was given God-given ability to do some special things and I just try to take advantage of it. I just work at my game. I want to continue to get better and continue to press the envelope. It means a lot to me and it means a lot to my team.’’
