Vucevic finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes and he very well might have approached a 20-point, 20-rebound game – something that he did four times last season – had he not been in foul trouble much of the night. Still, Vucevic’s solid play was a bright spot Friday night in Orlando’s 97-91 loss to the Grizzlies at the Amway Center.

``With Gasol, I’ve got to kind of go around him, especially on defense, and not let him catch the ball. He’s a guy I can’t really body out of the paint because he’s very big,’’ Vucevic said. ``I just have to have quick feet and get around him.’’

Magic rookie Victor Oladipo, who spent most of the night at shooting guard, had a career-best 22 points. He made six of 12 shots, two 3-pointers and all eight of his free throws. It was a nice bounce-back game for Oladipo, who struggled mightily two nights earlier in Houston.

``I was just staying on the attack and I was able to get to the line and make my free throws,’’ Oladipo said. ``I’m just trying to pick my spots on when to be aggressive.’’

Point guard Jameer Nelson had six points and six assists, but he missed six of his seven shots. Kyle O’Quinn added 12 points, five rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
