Two of the Orlando Magic's popular entertainment teams have been invited to participate in All-Star Weekend in Houston on Feb. 17-19.
The Dunking Magic Dancers and Jamskaters will appear on all three days of All-Star Weekend. They join Stuff, the Magic Mascot and emcee Scotty B., who have previously represented Orlando as Magic game entertainers at All-Star festivities.
This is the third season the Dunking Dancers have entertained the crowds at the TD Waterhouse Centre. They are the only dance team in the NBA that performs dunks during the games. Stuff, the Magic Mascot, serves as their official dunk trainer. It will be the Dancers' first appearance in an All-Star game not hosted by Orlando.
The Jamskaters are in their second season and have been very popular with fans, performing dance routines on four wheels before the game and during timeouts.
"We are so incredibly excited to display two extremely popular elements of Magic Live, the Dunking Magic Dancers and the Jamskaters, at the All-Star game and throughout All-Star Weekend!" said Jeanine Thomas, Magic Dancers Manager/Choreographer.
