The Orlando Magic, the NBA and St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake, Fla., have partnered to build a home for the Mathis family of Lake County.

The family of 11 was living in a substandard mobile home that was destroyed in the February tornadoes. This partnership will allow Habitat for Humanity of Lake County to build a decent, affordable home for the Mathis family. The home is being built on the Mathis’ property in Lady Lake.

The funding that is being provided by the Magic, the NBA and St. Timothy’s will help in constructing Habitat’s second six-bedroom house. With construction comes cost, and with the help of our donors we are able to keep the cost down for the family.
