Magic Forward Garrity Feeds Families in Need

400 Children and Families Will Receive Free Food and Personal Care Items

Orlando, Fla. (March 31, 2008) Orlando Magic Forward Pat Garrity and the Orlando Magic is teaming with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children to provide 400 Orlando families with boxes of food and personal care items on Wednesday, April 2 at the Downtown Recreation Center.

Orlando Community & Youth Trust, Inc. is a Feed The Children partner agency and has pre-identified all 400 families who will each receive a 25 pound box of food and a box of personal care items.

“We are so happy to be able to get the chance to work with Pat Garrity,” said Larry Jones, president and co-founder of Feed The Children. “To growing boys across the country, Pat is a role model and what better way to set a great example than by helping hundreds of families. We thank Pat for his support and for working with us to help change the lives of hundreds of families today.”
