Magic Deck the Halls This Holiday Season

This holiday, Magic players and staff will make their presence felt in Central Florida. From hospital visits to holiday parties for underprivileged families to shopping sprees the Magic will spread cheer across the community.

DECEMBER 5
Magic player Tony Battie, along with Magic Community Ambassador Nick Anderson will spread some holiday spirit by serving as crossing guards at Lake Whitney Elementary School. That same day, Jameer Nelson will shop on behalf of the Magic for children from underprivleged families. Nelson will select children from the Magic's Christmas tree to purchase gifts off of their 'wish lists'. Nelson will then help to the Orlando Millenia SuperTarget to purchase the presents.

DECEMBER 6
Magic players Keyon Dooling, J.J. Redick and James Augustine will visit the Florida Children's Hospital to distribute gifts and visit with the children.

DECEMBER 10
Make a Wish child John Paul (age 14) will visit the Magic game vs. the Atlanta Hawks. He will watch pregame warm-ups, meet the players, have dinner with Nick Anderson and serve as ball kid throughout the game.

DECEMBER 19
Magic staff will visit with families at the Northwest Community Center and surprise 200 children with gifts from their wish lists. The families will be entertained by STUFF the Magic mascot, the Magic Dancers and the Blue Crew.

DECEMBER 20
Carlos Arroyo will take 40 kids from the Kissimmee Boys and Girls Club on a shopping spree for the holidays. That same day, J.J. Redick will take 50 kids from the Apopka Boys and Girls Club on a shopping spree for the holidays.
