Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Awards

On January 21, 2008, the Orlando Magic recognized over 50 Orange County Public School students who were selected by their respective schools because they represent the ideals modeled by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which are Equality, Justice, Freedom, Peace, and Harmony for all. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
