The Magic and Chase unveiled a newly refurbished court at Palmetto Elementary School. The two also surprised the school with $5,000 worth of physical education equipment. It is the fifth community sports facility that has been revamped through this partnership.

The Magic coach, along with Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, stuffed backpacks with healthy snacks such as cereal, fruit and soup for students at the Nap Ford Community School. The idea is for kids to have enough food to last them through the weekend.

In what has become a heart-warming 22-year tradition that reflects “the core of who we are as an organization and what we’re all about,” the Orlando Magic teamed with the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida on Thursday to put warm food in bellies and smiles on kids’ faces.
Tobias Harris, Orlando Magic and Amway Celebrate Thanksgiving
For a second straight holiday season, Tobias Harris partnered with the Magic and Amway Corporation to distribute Thanksgiving meals to preselected families from the Rosemont, Parramore and Englewood communities at the Rosemont Community Center.
For 11 straight years, the Magic and Harris Corporation have hosted Seats for Soldiers Night to acknowledge the heroes of this country. More than 2,000 military members and their families attended the game and nearly all participated in a variety of activities and observances throughout the night.

Tobias Harris Makes $50K Donation to Orange County Public Schools Sept. 12, 2014
Harris, who has been one of the Magic’s most community-minded players since coming to Orlando more than 18 months ago, said that the opportunity to have a direct impact on the lives of thousands of school children was humbling to him.
In an effort to develop lifelong learners through literacy and education the Orlando Magic and Florida Blue, along with Magic players E’Twaun Moore and Maurice Harkless, Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, and Florida Blue Chairman and CEO Pat Geraghty, held a “story time” with approximately 40 local youth from Hands On Learning Academy at the Florida Blue Center in Winter Park.
A group of 30 kids from “Young Men of Excellence” had the opportunity to meet Orlando Magic Assistant Coach Laron Profit during pregame. They were given this opportunity through a ticket donation from Coach Profit as part of the Orlando Magic “Share the Magic” Player Ticket Program. The kids wore t-shirts labeling them as "Profit’s Dream Chasers."

Jameer Nelson has been a part of many community events throughout his 10 years with the Orlando Magic and it was another vitalizing day when he joined Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, Magic Dancers and other volunteers from the Magic and Chase in a court refurbishment and basketball clinic outside Mollie Ray Elementary School in the Pine Hills community of Orlando.
