Cohen's Analysis: Shaq & Penny’s Magic or Dwight & company’s Magic? The “company” refers to the compilation of contributors Howard had with him to reach the NBA Finals in 2009, including Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis and, though injured for half the season, Jameer Nelson.

The Magic of the mid 90’s had one of the most balanced and prolific starting lineups in the league over the last 20 years. Aside from O’Neal & Hardaway, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant and Dennis Scott were significant providers. However, Orlando a few years ago had a more superior bench, including Mickael Pietrus, J.J. Redick and Marcin Gortat.

Shaq & Penny’s group was built for a path to the Finals, while Dwight’s cast exceeded expectations. O’Neal gets the best of Howard in five games.
