Cohen’s Analysis: Kris Joseph learned everything – some enviable aspects and other less desirable facets – about the NBA business last season.

He was drafted by the Celtics in the second round of the 2012 draft, was called down to the D-League to play for the Maine Red Claws, was part of a D-League trade in which he was sent to the Springfield Armor, warranted a launch back to the pro level where he joined the Nets and then was delivered back to Boston as part of the Kevin Garnett/Paul Pierce deal.

Joseph excels at attacking the rim and with his size – 6’7 and 210 lbs – that is an appealing asset. He also has had teammates – like KG, Pierce, Deron Williams and Joe Johnson – to help mentor his progress.
