Cohen 8-Ball: Ranking 2013-14 Best Shooting Guards

#7 Arron Afflalo

Cohen’s Analysis: There are very few guys in the NBA who are more dedicated to their craft than Afflalo, who has made significant improvements every year he has been in the league. When the Pistons drafted him out of UCLA in 2007, Afflalo was noticed solely as a spot-up corner jump shooter and a reliable on-the-ball defender. But as he has continued to develop, Afflalo has added a comprehensive arsenal to his offensive repertoire. He can effectively bury fadeaways, attack the rim and collect AND-1s and his jump shot around the arc has greatly improved.
