Cohen’s Analysis: Here we go again. The Phoenix Suns traded another eventual All-Star on draft day. And again, it made sense. The Suns were scorching hot in 2006 and had arguably the best point guard in the NBA in his prime. Dealing Rondo, a late First Round pick, was a logical move to preserve Phoenix’s core.

You have to wonder though what a Rondo-Deng tandem would have looked like in Phoenix.
