Cohen’s Analysis: Chris Webber had one of the most disorderly and irregular NBA careers ever. Webber claimed Rookie of the Year honors in 1994, but because of a long-standing conflict with Warriors head coach Don Nelson he was traded from Golden State after just one season with the team. He would land in Washington before finally realizing his potential in Sacramento, where he would become a perennial All-Star and a beloved icon in a small market.

Webber had a good career, but when you think back to his days at Michigan when he was the most renowned collegiate player in years, you probably would have expected more.
