Cohen's Analysis: Sure, there was some sadness to see J.J. Redick, one of the more beloved Magic players in franchise history, go. But rather rapidly, the acquisition of Tobias Harris and his extraordinary performance in Orlando has helped fans forget the past and get excited about the future.

Harris is a multidimensional forward who dips his hand in each statistical category. He can score in a variety of ways, is relentless on the glass and has one of those motors that allow him to be active in every play on both ends of the floor.

It’s still ambiguous whether Harris is more of a small or power forward. He has generally played the four because of Maurice Harkless’ presence, but most seem to believe that his strengths coincide with what threes excel at. If he can become more of a threat from long distance, Harris has the potential to transform into a triple threat machine (score on drives, in post and on perimeter).
