2009

Cohen’s Analysis: Boston targeted Orlando all season long and figured it was an opponent it would need to surpass to reach the NBA Finals. The first of several knockdowns came on Christmas Day in 2009 when the Celtics dismantled the Magic at the old Amway Arena. While Vince Carter did his part with 27 points, Dwight Howard was limited to just five points on 1-of-7 shooting from the field.

The C's would eventually eliminate the Magic in the conference finals that season.
