Cohen’s Analysis: We all remember how aggravating the Pistons were to the Magic over a five-year span. But perhaps it was Orlando’s outstanding effort on Christmas Day in 2002 that provoked its soon-to-be rivals.

Behind another remarkable performance from Tracy McGrady – 46 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field – and help from Mike Miller, the Magic snuck past the Pistons. Later that season, however, Detroit would eliminate Orlando in the First Round of the playoffs.
