Cohen's Analysis (Feb. 3, 2014): There is something extremely peculiar about Love, a statistical masterpiece, a seemingly fun and motivating player to lead and a guy who continues to improve every year. Yet despite all those outstanding attributes, his team continues to struggle.
Barring unforeseen meltdowns by the teams above them or simply disenchanting injuries, the Timberwolves appear unlikely to snap their nine-year playoff drought. With Love scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in 2015, would it be most logical for Minnesota to consider trading its household name while his value is sky high?
