The Miami Heat will receive the Philadelphia 76ers’ First Round pick if the Sixers advance to the playoffs this season. If not, this same stipulation will carry over to 2015. If again Philly fails to reach the postseason next year, Miami will just end up with two Second Round picks in 2015 and 2016.

HOW IT HAPPENED: It was agreed to as part of a draft day deal in 2012 involving Arnett Moultrie.

ANALYSIS: While Moultrie has yet to play this season after undergoing surgery on his left ankle in October, it seems unlikely that the Sixers would be a playoff team this year. Therefore, don’t expect the Heat to land a second First Round pick this June.
