Oklahoma City Thunder

Cohen’s Analysis: The James Harden trade is proving to have been a disastrous move for the Thunder. Forget the fact that Harden heightened his status in Houston as a superstar; OKC just simply didn’t gain enough assets in the trade.

Kevin Martin darted off to Minnesota; Jeremy Lamb is still in the infantile stages of his development; Steven Adams is far from ready to contribute and those future draft picks will be rather unrewarding considering the Rockets are likely headed to the playoffs for the next few years.

The Thunder are still potentially the best team in the West with Kevin Durant and a healthy Russell Westbrook. But the outlook isn’t as promising as what we all forecasted a year ago when they were in the NBA Finals.
