ORLANDO -- A late 3-pointer from Rasual Butler decided the third place game at the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League, as the Indiana Pacers topped the Utah Jazz, 73-70, on the final day of league play at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. Indiana ended the six-day event 3-2, while the Jazz finished in fourth with a 2-3 record.

Indiana came into the final period of play down seven points, 52-59, but steadily chipped into Utah’s lead and re-claimed the advantage with 2:14 left in the game. From that point, the game featured one tie and four lead changes, including the go-ahead three from Butler with 28.4 seconds remaining. On Utah’s next possession, Trey Burke missed a 3-point attempt of his own, and the Pacers’ Orlando Johnson provided the final score by hitting 1-of-2 free throws in the waning seconds. The Jazz did get one more possession, but Burke again was off the mark on a trey from the corner that would have forced the game into overtime.

The Pacers were led by Johnson’s game-high 18 points, while Donald Sloan and Butler finished with 13. Only two Jazz players hit double figures (Chris Roberts-15, William Buford-11), while Rudy Gobert recorded 10 rebounds. Utah also dominated the glass in the game, outrebounding the Pacers by 10, 41-31.
