Tissot Announces Official Partnership with NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers

Famous Swiss Watch Brand Launches the Tissot Quickster Lakers Special Edition Watch featuring the Team Colors and Official Logo on the Watch Caseback

November 6, 2015, New York, NY – Today, Swiss Watchmaker Tissot strengthened its commitment as Official Timekeeper of the NBA by announcing a partnership deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The team deal will be the first of its kind, putting precision timekeeping at the forefront of all games played at STAPLES Center. The deal will include a large-scale integrated marketing program, including in-arena fan engagement, social and digital activation, and official Tissot shot clocks in the arena by the 2016-17 season.

Mitch Kupchak, Lakers General Manager, was presented with the first ever Tissot Quickster Lakers Special Edition Watch while in New York visiting the Tissot Fifth Avenue boutique. The timepiece features a sporty style, complete with a chronograph function, team logo engraved caseback and NATO strap celebrating the Lakers official team colors.

The Tissot Quickster Lakers Special Edition Watch will be launched at the end of the year, and will be available for sale in Tissot boutiques, online store and key local retail partners. The timepiece is suited for both men and women, and will have a retail price of $450.
