Nick Young Becomes Free Agent

EL SEGUNDO – Lakers forward/guard Nick Young has elected not to exercise his option to extend his contract for the 2017-18 season, it was announced today. Young, therefore, has become an unrestricted free agent.

Acquired as a free agent in 2013, Young appeared in 220 career games (71 starts) for the Lakers, averaging 13.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 24.5 minutes.
