Lakers Exercise Fourth Year Contract Option on Brian Cook
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 31 -- The Los Angeles Lakers have exercised a fourth year contract option on Brian Cook, it was announced Monday.
Cook, a third year forward out of Illinois, was originally selected by the Lakers with the 24th pick in the first round of the 2003 NBA draft. The 2003 Big Ten Player of the Year has career averages of 5.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.3 minutes.
