Lakers Sign Koko Archibong

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Aug. 14 -- The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent forward Koko Archibong, it was announced today. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Archibong, a 6’9 forward from the University of Pennsylvania, played all four years at Penn where he averaged 9.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 116 games.

Archibong was named Second Team All-Ivy League his senior year after averaging 10.9 points. As a junior, Archibong earned First Team All-Ivy League, Academic All-Ivy League and Second Team All-Big 5 honors while recording a career-high 14.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He finished his collegiate career ranked 23rd all-time at Penn in scoring (1124 points).
