FINAL WRAP-UP
It looks like the Charlotte Bobcats watched a lot of college hoops in the first half of the season ... Former ‘Cats Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown showed no deference whatsoever to L.A. vets, picking their way to a 131-all tie for Lakers.com March Madness honors.

To get there, Morrison picked six of eight Elite 8 teams and nabbed the champion North Carolina Tar Heels, while Brown rode a homer pick in his upset-savvy Michigan State Spartans all the way to the final game, not to mention picking 3-of-4 Final Four teams to Morrison’s one.

Alas, it’s tough to win a pool without getting the champ right.

Congrats for your great college basketball minds, Adam and Shannon.

LAKERS MARCH MADNESS
While six of the 14 players on L.A.’s roster didn’t go to college, some solid tournament schools are represented by the Lakers: UCLA, Michigan State, Gonzaga and Arizona. Accordingly, we had Jordan Farmar, Shannon Brown, Adam Morrison, Luke Walton – not to mention Josh Powell and Derek Fisher – fill out NCAA Tournament brackets, which we’ll follow round-by-round right here on Lakers.com.

After each round, we’ll score the sheets in our standings section to see which Lakers player has the best college hoops mind, good solely for bragging rights around the locker room. Feel free to take any advice from the pros, but remember, there may be just a slight bias on some of the sheets (Arizona in the Final Four? Really Luke?).
