SIT COURTSIDE AT THE LAKERS-KNICKS GAME WITH FS WEST AND PRIME TICKET

“Courtside View” on PRIME TICKET Delivers the Game with Natural Sound, Limited Interruptions, Shot from the Floor Seats

Side-by-Side Lakers-Knicks Game Telecasts Available on FS West HD

FS WEST and PRIME TICKET have teamed up with the Los Angeles Lakers to provide fans with a “Courtside View” when the Lakers face the New York Knicks, on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. FS WEST, the destination for the most local Lakers coverage, will air the game using traditional fixed camera positions and an expert announcing booth while PRIME TICKET captures the action by interacting with fans and providing a floor seat perspective.

Game coverage on FS WEST begins at 6:45 PM on November 24th with “Lakers Live”.

How they shoot "Courtside View”

"Courtside View”, hosted by Bill Macdonald, airs starting at 7:30pm on PRIME TICKET. “Courtside View” is achieved using five hand-held cameras placed at various locations along the perimeter of the court. Two robotic cameras will shoot the game from the baskets. An additional mobile camera captures the arena and game as a fan would see it roaming to and from his/her seat. Coverage imitates the human eye; there will be limited use of zoom lenses or sharp cutting from camera to camera.

The “Courtside View” experience continues during game breaks, commercial breaks and halftime when FS WEST and PRIME TICKET reporters interact with fans who are also sitting courtside. To further the insider experience, natural sounds of the game provide the audio on “Courtside View” and on-screen graphics and commercial breaks are minimal.
