#5 Gasol Tips Out the Thunder:
April 30 @ OKC, Round 1 Game 6

With L.A. down 94-93 in Game 6 against Oklahoma City and the final seconds ticking away, Kobe Bryant narrowly missed a fadeaway jumper off the baseline, but Pau Gasol was there to tip the ball in and win the first round series for the Lakers in the process.

Gasol went on to have a magical postseason, solidifying a growing reputation as one of, if not the, NBA’s best all-around post players. The Spaniard averaged 18.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.74 blocks in the regular season and 19.6 points, 11.1 boards, 3.5 dimes and 2.09 blocks in the postseason.

While the tip against OKC may have been his most important touch of the basketball on the season, his offensive rebound over Rajon Rondo in the closing moments of Finals Game 7 isn’t far behind.
