EL SEGUNDO - The Lakers first round pick Javaris Crittenton will join returning Lakers player Jordan Farmar on the Lakers entry in this year’s NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada it was announced today.
Crittenton, an early entry candidate in the 2007 NBA Draft was selected by the Lakers in the first round with the 19th pick. The 6-5 guard averaged 14.4 points and 5.8 assists in 32 games as a freshman last year at Georgia Tech.
Farmar, a 6-2 guard out of UCLA, played in 72 games last season averaging 4.4 points and 1.9 assists. Farmar also played in three games for the Los Angeles D-Fenders where he averaged 14.7 points and 5.7 assists.
The Lakers will play their first Summer League game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, July 8th at 3pm at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, NV.
