Rambis began his time with the Lakers signing as a free agent in September of 1981. Rambis played nine total seasons in Los Angeles and was widely known for his spirit, tenacity, and presence on the boards. He became an instant fan favorite and even found himself having his own rooting section, “Rambis Youth.” After his playing days, Rambis spent time as a Lakers assistant coach, interim head coach, and assistant general manager. |
