Lakers home games are packed with activities for young Lakers fans! We offer a variety of game night opportunities for kids, from participating on our High Five Squad to being a Lakers Honorary Ball Kid for a game.

At every home game, the Lakers Community Relations Department randomly selects 5 lucky kids to be part of The Canon Camera Kids. Approximately 30 minutes before tip-off, The Canon Camera Kids are escorted to the Lakers' bench to watch the team participate in warm-up drills. While they watch the Lakers prepare for the night's game, The Canon Camera Kids capture memories on their Canon PowerShot A1000 camera. Each child's action shots are transferred onto a CD for the kids to keep. The best shots are shared with all of Los Angeles here on the website. Throughout the season the Los Angeles Lakers will pass out giveaways to fans as they enter the STAPLES Center during home games. We invite youth groups to come out and volunteer their time and in exchange we offer tickets to the game and complimentary parking. These opportunities can be used by community groups as rewards or incentives for kids who are responsible and demonstrate great teamwork with their peers.
