As a rookie, Douglas averaged 8.6 points, 2.0 assists and 45.8% shooting over 19.4 minutes in 56 games. He set a Knicks rookie record for three-pointers made in a season with 58, and ranked 14th among all NBA rookies in scoring, 10th in assists and sixth in three-point shooting (38.9%).
