In rebuilding mode, the Knicks had two first-round picks in the 2005 draft. The franchise selected 6’11” big man Channing Frye, a standout for Arizona who would make the NBA All-Rookie First Team in his debut season, and David Lee, who would go on to become an All-Star in his fifth and final season in New York.
