He wasn’t even supposed to appear in the dunk contest, but when Kenny Walker was asked to be a last-minute replacement, he agreed. Competing in the memory of his father, who had just passed away a few days earlier, Walker upset the expected winner, Clyde Drexler, who was performing on his home court in Houston.
