How it Happened
The Knicks and Kings were scheduled to play on January 26th, but a snow storm forced the game to be postponed until tonight. As the snow began to fall in New York City once again, Sacramento unleashed its own blizzard, shooting 56 percent from downtown en route to a 124-86 victory.
Sacramento took control early and led, 65-39 at halftime. Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins were too much to handle, combining for 47 points and 17 rebounds on the night.
Alexey Shved (15 points), Jason Smith (13 points) and Shane Larkin (13 points and 6 assists) scored in double figures for the Knicks.
Knick of the Night
Shved flashed some of his potential tonight with a mix of drives to the hoop and deft passes.
