Knicks Name Jordan Schlachter Vice President, Marketing and Hunter Lochmann Director, Marketing

NEW YORK, July 26, 2004 – New York Knickerbockers Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development Anucha Browne Sanders today announced that Jordan Schlachter has been named Vice President, Marketing and Hunter Lochmann, Director of Marketing. Both come to the Knicks with extensive brand and consumer sports marketing experience, including stints at the NBA league office.

“It is a great pleasure to be able to add two highly-respected and well-rounded professionals to our staff,” Browne Sanders said. “With their help and experience we will be able to continue to expand the breadth and reach of the Knicks brand.”

Schlachter joins the Knicks with 14 years of high-level sports marketing, branding and event presentation experience for sports and entertainment figures. Most recently, the New York-native served as senior vice president for Assante Sports Management, based in Los Angeles. Schlachter was also at NBA Properties for eight years overseeing marketing, business development and operations. The Harvard University graduate was a member of the men’s basketball team and went on to receive his Masters degree at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Lochmann comes to the Knicks with a wealth of diversified experience in team marketing and corporate sponsorship. After beginning his career at MAI Sports in Overland, KS, where he grew to senior marketing manager, Lochmann joined the NBA office in the team marketing department, serving for almost four years. Before receiving his Masters degree at the University of Massachusetts Sport Management program, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas.
