Knicks Name Michelle Harris Manager, Entertainment Marketing

NEW YORK, July 7, 2005 - New York Knickerbockers Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Operations, Anucha Browne Sanders today announced that Michelle Harris has been named manager, entertainment marketing, effective immediately.

As Manager, Entertainment Marketing, Harris will oversee day-to-day operations for all dance and performance teams - Knicks City Dancers, Knicks City Kids, Knicks Tumblers, Liberty Torch Patrol, Timeless Torches and the Lil’ Torches - as well as recruit for kids talent searches and new entertainment acts.

In her new position, Harris will be actively involved in the overall entertainment plans of both the Knicks and the Liberty. She will hire dancers and choreographers, select wardrobe and music for each respective team and handle all logistics of dance/performance team operations, from human resource activities to securing rehearsal space and promotional opportunities. She will also be responsible for the creative flair of the performance teams, as well as oversee the design process for all areas of the dance team brand, including packaging, logos, event décor and outside appearances.

A 2001 graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business, Michelle has a B.S. in Marketing and Management. She has been a member of the Liberty Torch Patrol since 1998 and the Knicks City Dancers since 2000 and has served as team captain for the last three seasons. A native of Chicago, IL, Harris was recently married to Dustin Harris and resides in Manhattan.
